OK, rental may be a bit strong, but the Blacksmith 3D suite (RRP $299) is now available on limited-time licences through Renderosity, according to this announcement. These licences are $20 a month, for a minimum of three months.

The suite includes the morpher, modeller and painter. I’ve not used Blacksmith myself, but I have been tempted. For now though, I can stick with my increasingly aged DeepPaint and Pegasus as my modeller.
